SendGrid Integration with Thunai

Overview:

Thunai AI can send conversation summaries and reports directly via email using SendGrid. Integrating SendGrid with Thunai allows you to automate report delivery and improve workflow efficiency.

Required Information:

SendGrid API Key

From Email – Must follow this format: john <john@portal.io>

Generate a SendGrid API Key

Step 1: Log in to your SendGrid account.

Step 2: Click Settings in the side menu and select API Keys.

Step 3: Click Create API Key in the top-right corner.

Step 4: Choose Custom Access.

Enable the following permissions:

Mail Send (from Mail Send dropdown)
Sender Authentication (from Mail Settings dropdown)

Click Create & Save.

Add SendGrid Integration in Thunai.

Step 5: Log in to your Thunai AI portal & Navigate to Applications in the side menu.

Step 6: Locate the SendGrid card and click Connect.

Step 7: Enter your API Key and From Email ID, & Click Save to complete the integration.

Integration with Agents

SendGrid can be integrated with Chat, Voice, and Email Agents to streamline communication. Based on configured workflows, conversation summaries are automatically sent to the appropriate users’ email addresses through SendGrid, ensuring reliable and secure email delivery.

1. Chat Agents

Send Summaries via Email – Deliver conversation summaries to mapped users through SendGrid.
Workflow-Based Mapping – Determine recipient email addresses from workflow and send accordingly.
Authorization (Optional Security Layer) – Add OTP or user verification before sending emails.

2. Voice Agents

Send Summaries via Email – Capture summaries from voice interactions and send via SendGrid.
Workflow-Based Mapping – Ensure emails are routed to the correct recipients as per workflow rules.
Authorization (Optional Security Layer) – Secure email delivery with OTP or voice authentication.

3. Email Agents

Send Summaries via Email – Forward conversation summaries using SendGrid directly to mapped users.
Workflow-Based Mapping – Select recipient emails based on workflow mapping.
Authorization (Optional Security Layer) – Use OTP or email verification before allowing summary delivery.
