Agents Workflow - Setup

Thunai Agents allow you to design intelligent, fully customizable call flows. Using natural prompts, you can generate automated flow diagrams, map applications, and configure fields to create dynamic, voice-driven workflows.

Key Features

  • Flow Generation with Natural Prompts

Create automated flows by simply describing the process in natural language.

  • Visual Flow Diagram

Each generated flow is represented as a visual diagram with multiple nodes for easy customization.

  • Field & Application Mapping

Collect user information through default or custom fields and connect with external applications.

  • Customizable Actions & Conditions

Define how each node behaves with actions (reply, API calls, app notifications, or call transfers) and conditions (if/else logic).

  • Webhook Triggers

Connect event-based applications via webhook integration to automatically trigger Agent workflows.

  • Teams Phone Integration

Link Microsoft Teams Phone so that when a user calls a Teams number, the configured Agent workflow executes automatically.

Setup Guide

Step 1: Generate a Flow

  1. Navigate to Agents in the Thunai app.
  2. Click Generate Flow.

Enter a natural prompt describing your flow.

    • Example:

“Greet the user. If they ask about the XYZ app, provide details. If they mention the ABC feature, send a Slack notification.”

Step 2: Review the Flow

  • A visual diagram will be generated.
  • Each node represents a step or action in the workflow.

Step 3: Map Fields & Applications

  1. Select a node in the diagram.

    Map required fields:

    • Default Fields – Name, Email, Phone Number.
    • Custom Fields – Define additional attributes based on needs.

      Map applications to trigger actions.

    • Example: Connect Slack so the agent sends a notification when a condition is met.

Step 4: Customize Your Flow

  • Actions – Speak replies, trigger APIs, notify apps, call another agent.
  • Conditions – Add branching logic for decision-making.
  • Field Mapping – Collect and pass user details into apps.

Example Use Cases

  1. Support Automation
    • User calls support → Agent greets → Collects issue details → Creates Helpdesk ticket → Sends ticket ID → Notifies support team in Slack.
    • Benefit: Faster resolution and reduced manual effort.
  2. Sales Engagement
    • User calls about a product → Agent shares details → Offers meeting slots → Confirms → Schedules in Calendar + updates CRM.
    • Benefit: Automates lead handling and scheduling.
  3. Event-Based Triggers
    • A Freshdesk ticket is created → Webhook triggers Agent → Agent calls customer automatically to confirm details.
    • Benefit: Real-time automation between your apps and Thunai.

Summary

Thunai Agents make it easy to:

  • Generate and customize flows using natural prompts.
  • Integrate with applications like Slack, Calendar, CRM, or Teams Phone.
  • Trigger workflows automatically via webhooks or incoming calls.

This enables smarter, scalable, and deeply integrated workflows for your business processes.
