Twitter (X) Integration with Thunai
To integrate X (formerly Twitter) with your Thunai application, follow the steps below:
Step 1: Connect X with the Application
a. Create a Developer Account
- Visit the X Developer Portal.
- Sign up or log in using your X (Twitter) credentials.
- Click on the Developer portal option
b. Get a Project and an App
- Navigate to the "Projects & Apps" section.
- Click on Default project option assigned to the user.
c User Authentication Settings
- Now, scroll down and click Setup in the User Authentication settings options
- In App permissions click on the "Read and Write" & for the Type of App click on the Web App
d. App Info
- Copy the redirect URL from the portal and paste it in the required callback URL in the App info
- In the Website URL enter the URL of the portal
- Once all the required are filled click on save and proceed
Step 2: Client ID and Client Secret
Once the previous steps are completed, now we will get the Client ID and Client Secre,t which need to be copied and pasted in the application portal
Step 3: Once the client ID and Client secret are pasted, click on the option to connect
Step 4: When the option Connect is clicked, it will redirect to the page where the user needs to authorize the application
