Workflow Integration for Voice Agents
Step 1: Enable Workflow in Google Calendar
- Navigate to the Applications section of your Thunai dashboard.
Locate and open the Google Calendar integration.
Enable the following toggles:
- Enable Google Calendar Read
- Enable Google Calendar Create
- Click Save to apply your changes.
Step 2: Create a Voice Agent
- Go to the Voice Agents section.
- Click on Create Voice Agent.
- Fill in all the required fields based on your specific use case (e.g., support, sales, demo).
- Click Save to create the agent.
Step 3: Configure Workflow for the Voice Agent
- Open the Voice Agent you just created.
- Navigate to the Workflow tab.
- From the Application dropdown, select Google Calendar.
- Choose the specific Google Calendar account(s) where meetings should be scheduled.
- Click Save to apply the workflow configuration.
Step 4: Allow Overlapping Booking (Optional)
- Enable the setting “Allow booking even if a time slot is already booked” to permit scheduling in already-occupied time slots.
- This is useful for internal overlapping meetings, multiple presenters, or queue-based scheduling systems.
Step 5: Restrict Meeting Purpose
- You can define or restrict the purpose of meetings using predefined tags, scripts, or agent instructions.
- This ensures that meetings are booked only for appropriate and approved reasons, avoiding misuse of the booking system.
Step 6: Verify the Integration
- Test the voice agent by initiating a scheduling request.
- Ensure that the booked meeting is accurately reflected in the linked Google Calendar account.
- Verify time, purpose, and any overlapping rules as per your configuration.
