Workflow Integration for Chat Agents
Step 1: Enable Workflow in HubSpot
- Navigate to the Application section.
- Locate and open the HubSpot app.
- Enable the Allow Workflow toggle.
- Click Save to apply the changes.
Step 2: Create a Chat Agent
- Go to the Chat Agents menu.
- Click Create Chat Agent.
- Fill in all mandatory fields as per your requirements.
- Click Save to create the chat agent.
Step 3: Configure Workflow for the Chat Agent
- Open the Chat Agent you created.
- Navigate to the Workflow section.
- From the Application dropdown, select HubSpot.
- Choose the HubSpot accounts where conversation summaries should be sent.
- Click Save to apply the settings.
Step 4: Verify Integration
- Once configured, all conversations handled by the chat agent will be automatically sent to the mapped HubSpot account.
- Verify that the messages are being correctly logged in HubSpot under the respective contacts.
Step 5: Activate the Chat Agent Beacon
- Open the chat agent beacon.
- Once the beacon is active:
- If the contact does not exist in HubSpot, a new contact will be created, and the conversation summary will be attached.
- If the contact already exists, the system will update the existing contact with the new conversation summary.
