Setup Guide: How to Connect Zoom with Thunai AI

Step 1: Access Thunai AI Application

• Log in to your Thunai AI account.

  
  
  

• Navigate to the "Integration" section from the left-hand menu.

  
  
  
• Click on "Applications" to open the application directory.

Step 2: Connect Zoom

• Locate the Zoom integration card.

  
  
  
• Click on the "Connect" button.

• You will be redirected to Zoom’s login page.

  
  
  

• Sign in with your Zoom account credentials.

  
  
  
• Grant the necessary permissions to authorize the integration.

• Once connected, your Zoom account will be linked with Thunai AI, enabling seamless meeting sync and transcription access.

Zoom settings required

1. Disable authentication requirement:

• Login to Zoom’s settings page.

• From Settings  go to the Meeting tab, and click on Security.

  
  

• Disable Only authenticated users can join from Web client. This allows Thunai's Notetaker to join as a guest.

2. Disable end-to-end encryption:

• Within Security, disable Allow use of end-to-end encryption. This ensures Thunai can record and transcribe meetings.

3. Disable waiting room:

• Within Security, disable Waiting Room to allow Thunai's notetaker to join without needing approval.

4. Enable computer audio:

• From Settings, go to Schedule Meeting. Ensure the Join via Computer audio is Enabled. 

5. Allow participants to join before host:

• From Settings, go to Schedule Meeting and Enable Allow participants to join before host. 

6. Enable Local Recording permissions

• From Account Settings, go to Recording & Transcript and Enable Record to computer files
