Thunai Browser Extension - User Guide

This guide will help you install, set up, and use the Thunai AI browser extension for meetings, email tracking, and quick queries.



1. Installation

  1. Open Chrome Web Store.
  2. Search for Thunai AI.
  3. Click Add to Chrome.
  4. Once installed, go to the Extensions icon (top-right corner of your browser) and click Thunai App.


2. Login

  • Open the extension and login using your Thunai credentials.
  • After login, you will see two main options:
    • Email Track
    • Call Thunai



3. Meeting Recordings & Suggestions

(Available for Zoom, Google Meet, and Microsoft Teams)

Recording a Meeting

  1. When you join a meeting, you will see the Thunai logo.
  2. Click it to open a small Thunai window.
  3. Here, you will find:
    • Ask Thunai → Chat with Thunai (uses your internal knowledge base + optional web search).
    • Live Suggestions → If enabled in settings, Thunai will give real-time suggestions based on meeting discussions.
  4. To record the meeting:
    • First click the enable mic button. And proceed with the shortcuts 

Start/Stop Recording

  • Windows: Alt + Shift + X
  • Mac: Opt + Shift + X

  • Once recording has stopped,
  • The recording will be saved to the Meeting Assistant module in the Thunai portal and also visible in the mobile app.

Shortcuts for Meetings

  • Start/Stop Recording
    • Windows: Alt + Shift + X
    • Mac: Opt + Shift + X
  • Ask Thunai
    • Windows: Alt + Shift + Z
    • Mac: Opt + Shift + Z

4. Email Tracking

With Email Track, you can sync Gmail with Thunai for logging and auto-response generation.

Steps:

  1. Enable Email Track (Logs & Track) in the mail thread.
  2. Once synced, each Gmail thread will display an Add to Thunai option.

Note: If the option is missing, refresh the Gmail page after installation.

  1. When replying to emails, click Generate to let Thunai create an automatic response.


5. Call Thunai

  • Use this feature to ask questions directly in the extension
  • Responses will be generated from:
    • Your internal knowledge base, and
    • Web search (if enabled in your Thunai portal).



6. Settings

Click the Settings icon (top-right corner of the extension) to manage:

  • Enable Meeting Suggestions – Get live AI suggestions during meetings.
  • Enable Microphone – Allow microphone access for recordings.
  • Select Voice & Language – Choose your preferred voice/language for Call Thunai.
  • Switch Project – Change to a different project.
  • Shortcut Keys – Configure shortcuts for recordings & live meetings.
  • Help – Access help resources.
  • Logout – Sign out from your Thunai account.
