Atlassian Confluence Integration with Thunai



Overview of Thunai AI's Confluence Integration


Once Confluence credentials are configured in Thunai AI, it enables seamless integration with your Confluence workspace. Thunai can perform a one-time sync or periodic sync based on your chosen schedule. During each sync, relevant data is fetched and updated in the Thunai Brain, ensuring your knowledge base stays current and searchable.


Required Information:

Confluence Base URL – The URL of your Confluence workspace (e.g., https://your-domain.atlassian.net).

Email Address – The email associated with your Confluence account.

Confluence API Token – Generate a token from Atlassian's API Token page to authenticate access. https://id.atlassian.com/manage/api-tokens


Generate a Confluence API Token:

  1. Log in to your Confluence workspace.
  2. Click your profile icon at the top right and select Account Settings.
  3. Go to the Security tab in the navigation bar.


  1. Click Create and manage API tokens.
  2. Click Create API token, enter a name, set an expiry date, and then generate the token.


Application Integration in Thunai Portal

Step 1  - Login


Go to the Thunai portal: https://app.thunai.ai/.

Sign in using your Thunai credentials.


Step 2 - Configure Confluence


Navigate to the Applications section in the side menu bar.

Locate the Confluence card and click the Connect button.


Step 3 - Enter your Confluence Base URL, email address, and API token, then click Save to complete the setup.




Step 4 - Schedule the Sync


Go to the Brain section from the side menu.

Click the Add button at the top right and select Upload File.

Switch to the Periodic Sync tab, select the Confluence card, choose the integration key from the dropdown, and click Next.



Then, select your sync preference—One-time or Scheduled—and click Save.


Based on your selection, Confluence data will be synced and updated in the Thunai Brain accordingly.
